Speaking Club
Every Tuesday over the summer period the International Student Experience Team will run a Speaking Club.
Come along, practise your English speaking and listening skills with a chance to catch up with friends and meet new ones too. No need to book, ask any questions that you might have about life in the UK or just pop by for a general chit-chat and each week we will have a new topic to discuss!

LU Trips
Trip to historic Oxford
Pick up 7:45am Wolfson School (University), or pick up 8am from Amber Rooms (Town Centre); return to Loughborough approx. 6:30pm
Oxford, one of the most iconic university cities in the world, known for its stunning architecture, historic colleges, and rich academic heritage.
Wander through centuries of history among cobbled streets, grand quads, and picturesque riverside walks.
Spend the day exploring Oxford’s famous landmarks such as the Bodleian Library, Radcliffe Camera, and Christ Church College – filming location for Harry Potter!
Don’t forget to enjoy the lively cafés, museums, and independent shops that give the city its unique charm.
